When we’re in your home, it’s your home we’re thinking of - not the next house we need to get to.

Do you know how many cleaning companies cram 3-4 houses in a day into their cleaning team’s schedules? We will not overbook our staff so that they are full of energy and ready to provide you with the best service; not overworked and underappreciated.

Bristle offers judgement-free cleaning.

Who hasn’t slacked off cleaning here and there, and then suddenly realized things have gotten a tad out of control? It’s happened to the best of us. Life gets busy and overwhelming, and sometimes things get beyond our cleaning and/or physical capabilities. Bristle offers judgement-free cleaning, because we have all had our moments, good and bad.

If you think your home needs that extra oomph, or it’s been 6 months or more since your home has been deep cleaned by professionals, we have the dedication and know-how to get it whipped back into shape. This may take an extended amount of time to get the home into a satisfactory condition, so we are happy to offer this type of cleaning as one of our add-ons. We aren’t housekeepers (it’s okay - most people don’t know the difference, so you’re in good company).

A housekeeper would typically come to your home daily, or several times a week, and handle all day-to-day chores such as laundry, dishes, clothes, organizing, picking up toys, and maintaining the home as a whole. A house cleaner’s sole focus is to clean the floors and surfaces in your home and leave them sanitized for you and your family.

We wish we could do everything for you, but…

  • Bristle does not wash dishes nor load the dishwasher. We ask that all dishes are out of the sink in order to allow us to clean and sanitize your kitchen properly.

  • Bristle is not an organizing company. We ask that the floors and other areas you’d like to have cleaned be as free of clutter as possible. We do not ask you to clean before we clean, we only ask that there be no toys, laundry or other items laying on your floor or piled up on your counters. The time we spend picking up toys and de-cluttering is time we could be focusing on cleaning and sanitizing your home. Our desire is for every surface to be dusted, sanitized when applicable, mopped, and vacuumed. If there are items in the way this can take away from the great cleaning experience we always want our clients to have.

  • Bristle does not provide stain removal for any surfaces, but we will try our best to clean the area with the products we have on hand.

  • Lastly, Bristle is not a carpet cleaning company and thus does not steam or shampoo carpets. We are happy to vacuum and prepare your carpets before the carpet cleaning company arrives though!

A couple of add-on services, with caveats.

  • Bristle will happily clean the inside of your exterior windows as an add-on service (see our available add-ons), but we do not provide outside window washing.

  • Bristle will happily run laundry as an add-on service (see our available add-ons), but please have your laundry sorted and searched for left behind objects (especially sharps), as we will not pick the laundry up from the basket or hamper but dump it into the washer. This policy is meant to protect our teams from bodily fluids or sharp items.

Safety is a top priority, which means...

  • Bristle employees will not dispose of medical sharps or used medical supplies.

  • Bristle employees are not equipped for pest control or work in environments with pests.

  • Bristle employees do not clean up feces or waste (animal or human).

As a company policy, if a Bristle team member notices or suspects any of the above, and feels uncomfortable working in your home as a result, they are encouraged to leave without notice. A Bristle representative will be in touch shortly after to discuss options. A service fee will apply to help cover labor, transportation and the booking slot.
